Please let’s go through the scriptures below:
“One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple… My heart says of you, ‘Seek his face!’ Your face, Lord, I will seek”
(Psalm 27:4, 8).
“As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?” (Psalm 42:1-2).
“O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water. So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.”(Psalm 63:1-5).
“Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. ”
(Psalm 73:25).
“How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. — a place near your altar, Lord Almighty, my King and my God.
Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you.... Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked” (Psalm 84:1-4, 10).
“I spread out my hands to you; my soul longs for you like a thirsty land” (Psalm 143:6).
“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;” (Philippians 3:10).
“You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13)
“Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. “ (Jeremiah 29:12)
“... and I will answer you , and show you great and mighty things, which you know not.” (Jeremiah 33:3b)
“... He is a Rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6c)
Focus! Seek! Listen! Obey! = Greater Glory!
Focused in seeking, listening and obeying:
- will get us being prepared for the manifestation of the Glory of God,
- will get more and more people witnessing His Glory and surrendering to Jesus,
- will get an increase of the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord in the nations (Habakkuk 2:14).

Dave Butts said:
“God is moving all things toward completion. I don’t pretend to know when. But I do know the key. It is evangelism.” And the key to evangelism is prayer. Jesus said,
“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come”
(Matthew 24:14)
The gospel is going to be preached to all nations…Jesus said so.
Jesus also ties together prayer and evangelism
“The harvest is truly plentiful but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the Harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
(Matthew 9:37-38)
Then, in 1 Timothy chapter 2, Paul urges prayers to be lifted up because God wants everyone saved.
If we want to be a part of the fulfillment of these Scriptures, let’s begin to pray through these passages earnestly.
“These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication” (Acts 1:14a)
“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.”
(Acts 2:1-3).
They prayed and the Holy Ghost came as a SOUND from Heaven!

As we consecrate ourselves, come in unity and pray:
- God opens the heavens for us and
- God speaks to us
The Holy Ghost!
Let Him come upon us!
Let Him overshadow us !
Let Him have His way in and through us!
